allergies, allergies, allergies...

ok, ok...i know that it's been too long, again, but here i am. so i went to the allergist last week. when i was a baby i was allergic to most foods...literally. wheat, milk and anything else good. i was allowed to eat the following...rice, turkey and lamb...yes lamb. i'm sure there were a few other things i could eat, but not many. so because my tummy is always hurting i decided to go to the doctor to see if the problem was the food i was eating. i found out that i am indeed allergic to wheat, eggs and milk...and that's just the start. i'm going again next week to test a few more foods. he will test for chicken and potatoes...seriously i'll freak out if i'm allergic to those things. anyway, i'll keep you posted...i'll do my best to that is...

a new post at long last

for all my devoted readers, i apologize for the lack of new reading material. i have been rather bogged down with work and work and finding new work. but things are looking up...i am going to talk with someone about a new job tomorrow and that is very exciting. if nothing else at least it will give me hope that i can and will find something new.

as i am sitting here, at work of course, i am trying to find something interesting and exciting to say. but what? i mean, my life is pretty normal and those pretty normal stories are not all that fun to read. hmmmmm...well, i think i have thought of one that may interest you...the other night i was watching ella (my good friends alison and andys sweet daughter-10.5 months). she was already asleep but started crying so i went to check on her. i tried to rock her to put her back to sleep but she was not having it...she kept looking at the door for her mama but of course, alison was not home. so we went out into the living room and started watching the last episode of "freaks and geeks" (a GREAT show by the way). ella seemed to really enjoy it because when the kids on the show started clapping she sat up and started clapping herself. she was not going to be left out. it was one of the cutest things ever. in the end she finally did go to sleep. i just love that little girl:)

so there it is...a story from my life. hope you enjoyed it as much as i did!!
