here i am...28 and living in nashville, tn. i have a great family that is rather spread apart. my dad is a professor and lives in texas. my mom is a kindergarten teacher in indonesia...that's right, indonesia. my big sister is in her 3rd year of law school and lives in vermont. my little sister just finished school at the aveda institute and lives in canada. even though we are seperated by lots and lots of states and oceans and countries, we are still very close and i love them all dearly.

"get it fixed in 2006"

so the new year is here apon us...i guess that means that it's time to make resolutions and decide whether or not to keep them. but this year, i really do have to start afresh. my job, although with it's rewards, is killing me. i just don't make enough money to survive and that needs to change. there are too many stressful moments in my life (when i'm trying to decide which bill to pay late) due to the lack of funds in my account. therefore it is time to do something about it. the problem lies in finding what i want to do. i mean there are millions of jobs out there, but which one will make me really happy and excited about getting up in the morning. that is the challenge that i am currently facing.

it's also about time that i did something to make myself feel better about myself. i mean, really...did i think that eating at fast food restaurants was going to help me keep my girlish figure? i just have to be more disciplined and eat better. not even become a vegan or anything, but just stop eating burgers and fries two out of my three meals a day. it really shouldn't be that hard. and working out shouldn't be that bad either. i live in a great neighborhood and can walk my sidewalks with no fear of harm...but sadly as my friend liz knows, sometimes baja is just too much of a temptation:) well, i guess only time will tell if i do indeed find a new job and lose some weight. but be sure that i will keep you informed...
